Partner Yoga

Designed for friends, couples, families, and anyone who wants to move better and feel calmer. Children, seniors, and beginners are welcome. This class blends gentle stretching with strengthening, guided by mindful breathing to quiet the mind. No intense sweating required—just steady progress toward better balance, flexibility, and fitness. You’ll learn practical tools to support your body and mind, so you can become your own massage therapist, physiotherapist, and personal trainer for daily life. Expect a friendly, supportive environment that brings a sense of calm to your day.

Let me introduce myself

My teaching style is highly focused on alignment and posture improvement. In every class, I guide students to understand each position from the inside out, rather than simply imitating the outer shape. I begin with straightening the back, releasing tension in the neck and shoulders, engaging the muscles around the lower limbs and arms, and then progressively lengthening and stretching the muscles while maintaining active engagement.

I also integrate Ujjayi breathing into my sessions to increase focus and bring the mind into a steady, present state. Through movement coordinated with prolonged inhales and exhales, students learn to stay anchored in the breath, body, and present moment—rather than being carried away by distracting thoughts. This practice helps slow the heart rate, relax the body, support digestion, and improve overall physical health. It also strengthens muscles without unnecessary strain and leaves students feeling more energized, centered, and able to view life’s situations with clarity and balance.

I have previously taught yoga privately in Malta, mainly to clients in high-profile positions who preferred a discreet, non-public places.

My History:

In 2018, I successfully completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, under the expert guidance of Sumit Thalwal Ji, the founder and owner of Man Shakti Yog Academy. With a strong background in Iyengar-Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, coupled with his extensive knowledge of physiotherapy, Sumit possesses a profound understanding of the human body and the significance of proper alignment. He emphasizes the importance of experiencing yoga at a deep level as a student before stepping into the role of a teacher, a philosophy that influences my own approach to teaching.

My anatomy instructor, Pradeep Singh, currently practices as a Yoga Instructor in Bali at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. He holds a Master’s degree in Yoga from Sanskrit University in India. In addition, philosophy, pranayama, and meditation teacher Jaggi Ji was born in Haridwar and later relocated to Rishikesh. He began his yoga practice early in life, growing up in a family of devoted yoga practitioners. He was raised studying the Bhagavad Gita and various ancient Indian texts, which sparked profound questions about existence. His grandfather, a respected yogi during his lifetime, was his first mentor.

Jaggi Ji pursued his education in Yoga and Science at Gurukul Kangri University. Following his studies, he dedicated many years to traveling the Himalayas in pursuit of wisdom from yoga masters. During this time, he immersed himself in learning a knowledge of yoga. His specialty areas include Hatha Yoga, yoga therapy,  alternative therapy, yoga asana, pranayama, and mudra bandha.

Then one passion led to another. I found myself being introduced to Acroyoga. It is a fusion of yoga and acrobatics. It takes elements from yoga such as presence, groundedness, breath, and mindfulness and mix it together. I have been traveling through Europe to get more knowledge and I fortunately had the privilege to train with acrobats in a such places as Circus in Cologne and German Sport University Cologne to learn supportive technics for my Acroyoga journey. To support my knowledge I took a course in Sicily with EMIL Y BAXTERCo-Founder of PartnerAcrobatics.com & International Trainer manages teacher trainings, intensives, and workshops worldwide. Originally from Canada and nomadic for over a decade, she also teaches slackline retreats and anatomy on various yoga teacher trainings. As a trained postural therapist, Emily works with corrective exercises and functional movement. Her passion for movement and body awareness, paired with a strong foundation in anatomy, brings exactness, accuracy, and careful attention to detail and depth to her teachings.
